COVID times - Cancellation fees

It is incredible what an emotional pick-me-up getting your hair done can be! Every client leaving our little shop since we have re-opened has an air of lightness about their giant grins. It’s all about the little things during this mess of a time, and we are so happy to be a part of some good in each of our clients’ lives.

We also understand that the uncertainty in the air has us all holding our purse strings a little tighter, so thank you for bringing your business our way!

In our 6+ years of business, we have not had to enforce charging cancellation-fees; we have been so lucky to have an incredibly respectful clientele. However, we have had a such a severe increase in no-shows and very last-minute cancelations, we bring it up in the hope to keep our business from being one of the many small businesses closing during COVID. We understand that COVID safety measures can mean a last-minute notification, and we thank each person for thinking of their communities in those moments!

If you have to cancel, communicate with your stylist via email. Please consider that we each work for ourselves, if you do not show, there is no corporation helping us out. Notify ASAP, rebook ASAP, and if you are able, talk to your stylist about paying the cancellation fee for your appointment. We will continue to do our best to accommodate, and hope this reminder can help our community to do the same for us ❤️

The Grand Reopening

Things are a little different now!

To keep our clients and stylists safe, we have to take necessary precautions to reopen.

One of those precautions, is limiting the number of people in the shop. This means only two stylists can work at a time, and need longer breaks in between for disinfecting. This might mean you have to wait longer for your appointment. We wish we could do more too, but safety first!

Here’s the bullet points of the new stuff:

• Lebel&Crowe has an immunocompromised member of our team. It is IMPERATIVE that anyone who has symptoms or is feeling unwell stays home. Please cancel with as much notice as possible. 

• No guests/children allowed at this time. Come alone, even if you have appointments after each other, the one not having their hair done will be asked to wait outside.

• You will be required to bring and wear your own face mask; we will have masks available for purchase should it be necessary. If you cannot wear a mask for medical reasons, please contact your stylist directly so accommodations can be made.

• We are no longer able to provide a waiting area in the salon. Please arrive on time and wait outside until we invite you in. 

• Upon entering you will be required to wash and/or sanitize your hands. 

• Communication will unfortunately be difficult for us, as we will be wearing a mask and face shield. Bring your own reading materials and know that we will unfortunately be quieter than usual!

• There will no longer be beverages available, and food/drinks should not be consumed during your visit.

• All payments will be taken at the stylist’s chair.  

• Our washroom will be available, however try to use your own before arrival as best you can.

There is also a new cancellation policy as we try to fit everyone in, in a timely manner.

• If you are feeling ill, or suspect you may be sick email your stylist ASAP.  We will be reasonable with our cancelation policy if you respect our time.

• If you do not arrive to your appointment, do not contact your stylist, or arrive 15+ minutes late it will be considered a missed appointment, and a block will be placed on your booking account.

• The block will prevent you from booking any further appointments with us, until a fee of 50% of the missed-service charge (HST inc) is received.

We hope you understand we are trying our best to accommodate our clients, and these rules are to help us stay open and see you all again! Looking forward to it,

Covid-19

Valued Clients!

With the ongoing health situation here in Toronto and around the world, we want to do everything possible to safeguard our clients and our community. We know that maintaining “social distance” was helpful at first, so we made the decision to close the shop. Now, we are, as we hope you are too, going even further and not leaving our residences at all.

We are all adjusting to this new reality but we remain hopeful that, as a community, we can help each other get through this and come out on the other side together.

We will continue to follow what public health officials indicate and we will of course be happy to reschedule your appointment for a future date. Until then, we will let you know about any important changes to our plans. Thank you for your understanding. Please stay safe and help look after your friends and neighbours - we will get through this together!

Miss you already, Danielle!

The day came far too soon for this hairstyling family.  The sweet and sassy Danielle has left the Lebel and Crowe team at the end of the month! Off to a new adventure in a new town. We will miss her bustling around the shop, and her always-perfect bangs. May the people of the new town appreciate her stunning colour-work as much as we do! Visit us sweet Dani <3
